Please allow me to introduce you to my good friend, the Frankenstein Monster. We just call him Frankenstein, or Franky, for short. He’s a little wild, a bit primal, but deep down, he’s a lot like you and me. Soon you will get to know him, his smart and shapely wife Elsa, his friends and neighbors, and his world. It’s basically New York City, but full of rowdy monsters, shapely succubi, superheroes, and who knows what else. Well, I do.
I hope you will come back often- Mondays and Fridays for new comic updates, and every day for blog posts. “Like” our Facebook page, follow our Twitter feed, or subscribe via RSS. So many ways to stay in touch.
I’d like to take a moment to thank some people for making this site possible. JJ Sandee of Digital Impulse for taking my layout and making it a web reality (in record time!), Kerry, Micheline and Wesley for providing artistic feedback, Bill Walco for being our first “fan”, Scott Kurtz and Brad Guigar for their instruction and encouragement at their Webcomics Bootcamp, and mostly my lovely girlfriend Lisa, for providing inspiration, creative direction, and kicks in the butt to get this thing online. Happy Birthday! I love you very much.

Congrats bro! Well done.
WESLEY!!! Thank you sir!
I have become a fan. Thanks.
Thank YOU! Pleasure to “meet” an excellent comics creator.
Reading over the site, from the beginning–looks like you have a “Thing” for the old Harvey characters. Drop a note to Sid Couchey on Facebook–he’s one of the original artists, from the 1960′s to the 1980′s–he’s 92 and still going strong!
I’ve been reading this series for a while, but I just had to come back and comment on the first post. The first comic of any series is usually embarrassingly bad after years have gone by, but I still laugh like crazy at this one every time.
Thank you Aidan! Believe me, if I hadn’t waited 3-4 years before getting FS online, the first comics would have been far clunkier! There is OCCASIONALLY an advantage to procrastination.
Now after eight months online I’m still trying to lock down exactly what kind of comic this is going to be, still trying to get back to characters introduced but not fleshed out, still trying to make the art better, still need to fix parts of the site, etc. but I’m very glad people have enjoyed it so far.
