It’s 1 A.M. and Romney just conceded. Not gonna gloat, but if he won, it would have been MONSTROUS. But he conceded good.
So happy Obama won. And so are Elsa and Franky. Thank you, stupid humons!
Assuming Frank isn’t out of the superhero business for good after this last strip, I want this to be Elsa’s costume.
Nothing says awesomeness like more government and the peoples hope for free stuff! Whooot!
And nothing says “I need to get out more” like buying into Glenn Beck.
Or maybe it’s watching small companies around me close down because of more government and talking to democrat friends who believe just that ‘Free stuff!’ :p
Or you’re entirely full of it, and buying into this “free stuff” meme (along with a lot of the other provably bullshit claims being bandied around by FOX News, et al., being the chief reason why your side took such a drubbing this cycle.
lol, you tell him Abel ^^
And you say I’m misinformed? There wasn’t a drubbing. It was an even split in popular vote.
Sorry, no- you need to update you info:
“Obama’s 3 Million Vote, Electoral College Landslide, Majority of States Mandate”
Because knowing is half the battle!
You’re right! My info was outdated! Last I saw it was 49.8 Romney to 49.1 Obama!
What I’m not wrong about is what you call the meme :p That was me talking to friends and asking them all why they voted Democrat back in 2008.
And unlike you, my opinions arent based on TV, but actually getting active in the process outside of just voting :p
Been busy working on the next strip, plus I didn’t want to get into a heated political debate on this site about fun comics, though I do and will bring politics into it sometimes, so I suppose it’s inevitable. So here goes…
Small businesses are closing down because of unregulated, under-taxed superstores flooding the market with cheap, foreign-made crap. Also because those small businesses are run by families who are just as badly hit by the attack on the middle class as the rest of us. And if you don’t think the Republicans and their trickle-down, corporation-serving policies aren’t a direct attack against a strong middle class, then you haven’t been paying attention for the past few decades.
Do you really believe most of the Americans who voted are lazy slackers who just want to be given stuff? Because I think most Americans want to have decent jobs, take good care of their families, leave their kids a better life than they had, and not worry about their infrastructure, healthcare, food, air, and water going to hell.
And representative government is how we the people take care of those things, and ourselves. Government shouldn’t be run by a party whose philosophy is that government doesn’t work. And infrastructure, healthcare, food, air, and water shouldn’t be run by corporations whose primary motivation is profit.
Come over to the light side, Joybuzzer. Or just please have a nice day.
